Compatibility/Eligibility

• This offer is only available for residential customers with electric forced-air furnaces or ducted heat pumps. Single-family, multifamily, and manufactured homes are eligible. Commercial properties are not eligible.
• You must be a Cowlitz PUD customer and own the home where the thermostat is installed.
• The smart thermostat must be installed in a residence in Cowlitz PUD’s service territory.
• Smart thermostats are NOT recommended to control variable speed heat pumps.
• One free smart thermostat or smart thermostat rebate per qualifying heating system, with a limit of two per household, every five years.
• Cowlitz PUD will review all orders that have been placed and reserves the right to charge the customer’s PUD account in the amount of $140 if it is determined that they were ineligible for this promotion.
